I've Been Given My Life Back
"I’ve had problems with my bones all my life. I first broke my left hip playing field hockey at age 13. I’ve had arthritis ever since throughout my body and shortly thereafter, developed pain in my back. When the back pain became too much, I sought help at a renown regional disc institute. From 2003-2012, practitioners in that group passed me and my issues back and forth, never coming up with a solution, performing surgeries that didn’t work and never providing any hope. I went to a chiropractor who was just in it to collect my money- he never ordered or reviewed any x-rays or my health history. I stopped seeing him.
In 2013, I began seeking treatment for my left hip: The old injury and a resulting case of necrotic bone disease left me unable to walk on my own. Following 2 surgeries, my orthopedic surgeon told me there was an 80% chance I’d never walk again, that he’d just cut the nerves during the 3rd operation and I’d have a left leg with no feeling or use.
I felt completely hopeless. It wasn’t until seeing a pain management physician in the spring of 2015 when she suggested I have work done on the various trigger points throughout my neck and lower back that I decided to see Dr. McCaslin. My daughter, who has arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, referred me to Dr. Bill. He examined me and looked at my x-rays and told me he felt confident he could help me. This was the first time in a very long time that someone had actually given me some hope and that I was not a lost cause!
After treating with Dr. McCaslin for only a short time I returned for my follow-up appointment with my pain management physician, and for the first time in 42 years, I was able to report zero pain to her! Dr. McCaslin has given me my life back. I will never be able to put into words how much I appreciate Dr. McCaslin’s attention to detail, and, more importantly, the hope he has given me. While surgeons and back specialists have continually bounced me around as a “lost cause”, Dr. McCaslin truly took the time to research my conditions, study my test/ x ray results and formulate a game plan which has brought me to zero pain. Thank You Dr. McCaslin!"

Don't Give Up...There Is Help!
"For four years, since 2011, after a rear-end car accident, I have suffered from terrible low back and neck pain. I also had trouble walking and tore my meniscus in my right knee. I needed surgery and injections for pain. I tried various treatments such as physical therapy, chiropractic treatments and pain injections for relief. None of the treatments worked and were very expensive.
Recently I met Dr. McCaslin. After only one visit with him I had relief from years of pain and suffering. His adjustments have helped me tremendously. I stand on my feet at work for long hours at a time, and now I can do so without any lower back and knee pain. I am so grateful for having found Dr. McCaslin, and I will continue to enjoy a life free of pain. I recommend him highly to anyone needlessly suffering from pain and discomfort."

I Can Breathe Again!
"I suffer with asthma and I seemed to be getting worse lately, having more difficulty breathing and having to use my inhaler quite a bit. My husband recently started seeing Dr. McCaslin and was getting very good results with his treatment so he recommended that I go and see him also. I have seen numerous Chiropractors over the past 25 years and I have to say that Dr. Bill is by far the best! After one adjustment I started breathing much better and now I rarely even need my inhaler. Also, I am a caregiver and am very active and he is able to work out the soreness I feel in my back and muscles.
Thank you Dr. for everything you've done to make me feel great! I only wish I had found you sooner!"

Can Anyone Help Me?
"I was employed as a caseworker for the public welfare office in Greensburg. PA. On the morning of October 23, 1989 I awoke and found that I could not walk without limping. At work, my coworkers began to joke with me, calling me Hop-a-Long; at the time I didn't think much of it. Two days later it got so bad that I went to Westmoreland Hospital for x-rays. There I was told I had calcified tendinitis and was scheduled to see an orthopedic surgeon on November 11. By now, I was on crutches and unable to use my left leg. There the orthopedist diagnosed me as having Trochanteric Bursitis and gave me a shot of cortisone. After this I was good for 5 days and then the restriction of movement became worse. I was beginning to become hysterical-I truly imagined the worst. I thought I might have multiple sclerosis or muscular dystrophy, but an MRI exam ruled these out. I went to 2nd orthopedist who thought that I had a hernia or pinched nerve. He recommended a visit with another surgeon. I never went. I then went to my gynecologist who said I had an estrogen problem and put me on estrogen patches, after which I stopped getting my periods. Finally, I became such a basket case that a doctor specializing in internal medicine took me off of work. I had blood tests which revealed an RA factor. I was then referred to a rheumatologist. My condition now progressed to a point where I could not walk except totally bent over. I went to a neurologist, and he could find nothing. I then went to 2 different chiropractors, who also found nothing, but they did not take x-rays.
Through my boyfriend I was recommended to see Dr. McCaslin. Dr. McCaslin did a thorough exam on me, from top to bottom and then took x-rays of the areas where he found problems. Through the examination, he found that the main cause of my problem was actually more in my neck than it was in my lower back. I was kind of skeptical about this since my problem was with my lower back and leg, but he adjusted me and I could walk again after 3 visits. Prior, all I could do is lay on the bed all day, I couldn't leave my apartment and I almost lost my job.
Thanks to Dr. McCaslin. I was able to return to work and resume my normal lifestyle, which, by the way, has changed to one of the prevention, which includes a more nutritious diet and regular chiropractic maintenance. I have since retired from my job at the welfare office and through my chiropractic lifestyle have remained very healthy and am able to enjoy my hobbies of gardening and dancing without being in pain!"

Debilitating Pain & No Help
"For the last 10 years I have experienced often debilitating muscle and joint aches throughout my body. In my quest for answers and relief I have been examined and treated by physicians in multiple specialties, mental health professionals, and chiropractors. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, depression, and PTSD. I have been given multiple medications and tried alternative & adjunctive medicine treatments such as ultrasound & electric stimulation therapy, therapeutic massage and Reiki. But not until I found Dr. McCaslin have I experienced any substantial relief.
After the most comprehensive evaluation I’ve ever had for these complaints and only a few visits thus far, I have experienced the greatest pain relief and restoration of daily functioning that none of the other modalities have equaled. I have more energy, far less pain and am better able to do the things I want and need to do in life and am truly grateful."

What A Difference!
"My name is Juanita Carter and I was in a car accident 4 yrs ago, in 2006. Since my accident, I have seen three other Chiropractors before seeing Dr. McCaslin and not one of the other ones has been consistent in their findings or techniques.
Since my first initial visit a month ago, I have seen remarkable differences. In the last few years I was used to feeling nothing but pain, restlessness, taking pills, going to doctor appointments, being unable to hold jobs due to my pain and intense headaches, and receiving all kinds of treatments. My pain would consist of daily headaches, neck pain, upper back pain, and pain in my arms ranging between a grade 5 and 8 out of 10. On days when I would see a previous Chiropractor my pain level would get down to a grade 4 if I was lucky. Dr. McCaslin has done something better. His was extremely more thorough, his diagnosis was different, and his treatment is different; the style and techniques are better and now my days have no to very little pain. This does not mean that I may not have a day with a higher pain level, but it does mean that I can do more things than I have done in 4 years now, I am even able to work now!
Dr. McCaslin, I want to thank you for your expertise and commitment to helping others. God bless you and may you continue to bless others."

"I have been a nurse for over 16 years, which has, over those years, taken a toll on my body. I had pain in my back, headaches, aching hips, and so on…and I wasn’t even forty yet. Whenever bending, lifting, my headaches, or even walking became too unbearable-then I would go to a Chiropractor. I didn’t go until I couldn’t stand it anymore because it was just too hard for me to make the time. When I went, I would feel better for a little while, but inevitably the pain would always return. I just learned to deal with it. More recently, in the past few years I have been diagnosed with GERD, severe gastric reflux, and terrible heartburn. I had to watch everything I ate but it still didn’t make a difference. Everyday of my life I had chest pain, and after everything else had been ruled out, I had to accept that this was something else that I had to learn to live with. Sometimes it would be so severe I would question if I was having a heart attack because surely heartburn could never be this bad. I was on prescription medication twice a day that cost 75 dollars per month co pay, drinking Maalox like water, and chewing Gaviscon like gum. This pain would sometimes go away, but only for a while.
I went through about a year of this before I began seeing Dr. McCaslin. He asked me, “If there was only one thing he could help me with, what would I want it to be?” I “KNEW”, being a nurse, he wouldn’t be able to, but I said, “Take my chest pain away.”
In a matter of only a few treatments, my headaches were disappearing, I could move my neck freely, and bend without pain…all of the things I thought I’d have to live the rest of my life with were better…But the most impressive thing is that my chest pain wasn’t nearly as severe. Some days I would barely have it at all.
After two months, my heartburn and chronic GERD were gone. I stopped taking my expensive medication and all the other over-the-counter treatments, and I felt good. “THE SECRET”, he would try to explain, is about the body working properly through correct spinal alignment. I would never have believed the Chiropractic care would have helped my GERD. I knew it made my body feel better, but what a shock to find it works on “ALL” of our body systems. I am grateful to have found Dr. McCaslin; he is caring, knowledgeable, and a dedicated physician. He has changed my life through Chiropractic.
I am now a true believer in Chiropractic Medicine.
Thank You Dr. Bill McCaslin."

A Bowie Knife
"I have been suffering with incredible back pain for about the past 20 years. I have had to wear a back brace wherever I go and for whatever I do…I’ve even had to wear it to bed. I am 62 years old now and can’t remember ever feeling the freedom of not having to wear it. When I would wake up and get out of bed in the morning, it felt like someone was stabbing me with a Bowie knife in my back. I had pain just doing my daily activities, let alone trying to do my job, which is fairly physical, and make it through a workday.
I have been to Medical doctors, have been living on pain medication, have gone through many courses of physical therapy, and have been to 5 different Chiropractors over the past 20 years. None of them has been able to give me the relief from my back problems like Dr. McCaslin has.
Dr. McCaslin is truly knowledgeable and gifted at what he does, and thanks to him, I now have the ability to walk, twist, stoop, and lift without problems, and best of all…I don’t have that Bowie knife sticking in my back when I wake up now.

No Surgery Needed!
"I am a professional paintball player and travel all across the United States playing tournament paintball. Playing at this level of competition has taken a toll on my body over time. The constant diving and crawling behind bunkers eventually caught up with me and left me quite sore, often times barely able to perform normal day-to-day activities.
Last year while playing paintball, I dove into a bunker and dislocated my right shoulder, then about a month later I dislocated the left one. I was left with numbness in the 4th and 5th fingers of my left hand and the entire pinky side of my left hand, as well as pain in my upper back. If I went to the gym and tried to lift weights my hand would give out and I’d drop the weights. If I would work on the computer my hand would really go numb and it was difficult to type. Worst of all, I could no longer play paintball because I didn’t even have enough strength in my hand to open a pod of paint to refill my gun while in the middle of a game.
I saw orthopedic surgeons at a local hospital that said my only option was to have surgery on my left shoulder. They said it would not heal on its own and I’d only keep injuring it. One day I met Dr. McCaslin at my paintball field and explained to him what was happening with me. He did a couple of tests on my arm and said he thought he might be able to help me and asked me to come to his office so that he could do a thorough exam on me. I was skeptical, but I decided to go and see him.
I began getting treatments, and am I glad I did! My pain subsided with each treatment, the numbness in my hand gradually got less and less and my strength got greater and greater. My shoulder and arm are now back to normal and I cannot thank Dr. McCaslin and his wonderful staff enough for everything they have done during my brief time as a patient. They truly make you feel comfortable from the moment you step into the office until the moment you leave…And the best part is…not only did I not need surgery, but I am back to playing paintball and have not had any further problems with my shoulder!
Thank you, Dr. McCaslin and staff, for your efforts, they do not go unnoticed."
